Stunning to see you apply this! I must have gotten bad batches. My primer is so gunky and immediately gives me spider eyelashes, also it doesn't dry! I'll try the mascara alone but am confident after watching that I may have gotten a dud with the primer! Thank you for posting this, it was helpful! 😊

Thank you!! I know this video is older but i use the Ben Nye banana powder and its lasted me years lol and its good. But i wanted to try a pink powder and everyone raves about the huda but i thought it looked more white than pink. So im thinking the ben nye would be better for my medium skin tone! I poked o e hole in my ben ny powder so lots doesnt pour out. Easier to control lol ❤

I never wet my sponge (that’s why you got that “thin/sheer” coverage). I get the best results with a sponge but the sponge has to be used dry ! Right after I apply the foundation, I spray my face with setting spray and then use the sponge to blot it in 😊

Good review. The way you apply it with the sponge is not the best one, it will absorb soooo much product, you will be always wasting it.

Mauve is actually meant to be a cool-toned pink, so it should lean toward a lavender rather than a warm rose. Before Kim K, there wasn’t a warm-toned bias in makeup. I agree that many of the colors are not what I’d expect from what’s out there, but when I was a teen, I could reach for anything that said nude, mauve and rose and they were in my range. Today they are all 3+shades darker and warm-toned with the same labels. I’m all for inclusivity but we can’t all wear the same color or be the same undertone. I’d call a blue- based pink for fair skin a mauve and one for medium skin a lavender and maybe a grape (purple) or plum (pink leaning) for darker skin. The way colors show up in different skin tones is different. When you have cool undertones they are often look deeper in saturation and when you have darker skin they are often much more vibrant in color. So a blue-pink just pops on darker lips but looks nude in fair skin. That espresso might look richer on me but not so dark that it makes my lips look like the center piece of my face. Honestly, people with deeper skin tones often get much more payoff and vibrancy with all colors. It would be fair to have some colors that look good for cooler skin tones. I’ve tried and really wanted so many product lines to work bc they are marketed gorgeously and are great quality that are super warm-toned bias and do absolutely nothing for me.

This serum is meant to be applied with your fingers, obviously you're not going to get any coverage when most of the product is absorbed by the sponge and eaten by the brush 🙄

I think it did work on you!! From a distance it does look better, but when you scrunch it, of course it's gonna show the wrinkles. I use it myself from time to time and I am in my late 50's but luckily don't have many eye wrinkles...instead I got fat pads and hooded eyelids. 😕 But I do think the product works. The trick is to put in on very very light and then use silicone primer before foundation. If you get too much you need to wipe gently with a very soft cloth - if you get it wet it will dissolve.

Thx for the video. I might have missed this but what skin type do you have? Eg dry, combo, oily? It sounds like it'd be good for dry to very dry skin.

Did you use an eyelash curler? Mine are really straight. Ive tried the mascara, just not with a curler. wonder if that would help.. I think im gonna try the brown one next, and with a spoolie like you mentioned
